About Me
My Background
I am a self taught fluid artist who also likes to dabble in other types of painting and drawing. When I was little I loved to create things, the thought of taking seemingly random objects and making something out of them was just the coolest to me. I've had many creative outlets since then but being introduced to Fluid Art took it to a whole new level for me like I was coming home to something I didn't even know I was looking for. I am constantly learning new things with this art form.
My Mediums
My main mediums would be acrylics and house paints but I have various different mediums I use depending on the effect I'm looking for within a particular piece I want to create. I don't want to limit myself and sometimes I even go so far as to try and use a particular medium to see if it will work in a completely different way. Sometimes it works, other times, not so much! But that's what makes it fun!
My Inspiration
Every day I'll find a new inspiration for me most times when I'm not even looking for it. Something I see while I'm doing the dishes, playing a game, watching other artists work, being outside, or something I'm reading or on the TV will tickle my mind to figure out how to bring it into reality. Learning and playing with new techniques and mediums is also very inspiring to me and sends me down rabbit holes at times.
